The Pre-purchase Inspection (PPI) is essential if you are interested in buying a car but you can’t be here in person. I will be your set of eyes at the car. I can see good and bad things that photographs can't always capture. You need a qualified unbiased inspector to report back to you on the accuracy of the advertised features. I will report back to you within 4 hours of inspecting the vehicle and whether it is in the condition and is equipped as it is advertised or if there are any red flags. I always share my summary findings with the seller so that there are no surprises. A PPI requires 100% pre-payment and a signed contract between us before I inspect the car. Sellers of classics will encounter a number of reasons why a PPI is essential. Perhaps you have inherited a classic and you would like to sell it. I will provide you with a detailed and thorough inspection which can be shared with potential buyers. This unbiased and transparent report will also educate potential buyers that have never purchased a classic. The PPI gives you an electronic document to share in advertisements, auctions, etc. I will be happy to take questions from potential buyers. Donating a classic car to a charity requires an appraisal if the appraised appraised value exceeds $5,000. I am trained and compliant with the IRS to appraise the classic that you are donating. Consult your tax professional before you donate your vehicle and then we can begin the appraisal process.
